Returning Paul Buentello to get heavyweight Todd Duffee at UFC 107 in December

Returning to the UFC for the first time since a solid 3-1 run in the organization, Paul Buentello (27-10 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is expected to meet fast-rising heavyweight prospect Todd Duffee (5-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) in December at UFC 107.

A source close to the negotiations told MMAjunkie.com verbal agreements are in place and that bout agreements are in the process of being finalized.

UFC 107, headlined by UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn vs. Diego Sanchez, takes place Dec. 12 at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn., and airs on pay-per-view.

Well put together fight for both sides. Look forward to it

Solid step up for Duffee, good fight.

Buentello is going to knock Duffee clean out

Hate it when 2 UG posters have to fight each other. Guess I gotta wish them both luck.

Great fight for Todd, best of luck to him!!

The king wins by ko.

wow, i am really looking forward to this one. good luck to both of you

Im picking Duffee and want to see him fight Dos Santos afterwards.

Because he is thinking long term. The UFC is where he wants to be so a pay cut only seems temporary with the longevity possible in the UFC.

Fedor could fight once or twice and then SF crumbles and Buentello is without a job. Look at Sharty Pants, 800K for 1 fight was too much to refuse but now he'd suck Dana off to get back in the UFC for 100K per fight.
