What specifically do you do to insure you are at your peak for a fight?

experience, trial and error.
pop the tab of acis appx. 3 hours before the fight.
cut to the appropriate weight.
get your cardio in peak shape.
if you lift weights you will want to stop in time to get muscles and joints in a recovered state.
