B.J.] Penn has been critical of Sherk, suggesting there should be a separate division for fighters found cheating, and intimated that he wouldn't fight Sherk if Sherk's suspension were upheld. While Penn has backed away from those comments and now says he will entertain a fight with the former champion, he continues to take his shots.

"The guy has been cheating for how many years? At least everybody knows now what everybody had suspected the whole time.
"But honestly, I can't worry about Sean Sherk right now. I can't look past Joe Stevenson. I've got to beat him, or there won't be any fight with Sean Sherk, there won't be any fight with Matt Hughes.
"As far as Sherk goes, he's going to have to sit on the side and wait while the two people fight for the real lightweight championship, not the 'steroid championship.' "
Juice or not. It's a fight I would like to see. I am hoping BJ does what he is supposed to do, beat Stevenson and then we get to see Sherk and BJ for the true belt.

well sherk is a cheater...he probably always has been with the physique he had. guy messed up and didnt cycle off in time. he got caught, sorry but sherk isnt natural at all. i guarantee he isnt going to stop roiding or taking something like HGH. cuz if he does stop he'd shrink and prove everyone right. they should test sherk randomly during his next training camp
What gets me is, he still wants to fight Matt Hughes again LoL.
I don't see why Huges would take it. Let's say he beats St. Pierre, wins the title. Then beats Matt Serra. He has said that he then wants to go up in weight and fight Anderson Silva. Then he's going to retire. He said he has 2-3 more fights left and those 3 would fill that up.
BJ, IMO, should focus on lightweight because there could be some really awesome fights at that weight. But I don't see anyone besides Sherk even posing a threat to him.
I liked Sherk as a fighter, not so much now. I kind of took him at his word, but not a huge suprise to me he got popped. I personally am not a fan of ILLEGAL performace enhancers/drugs. I always thought it funny to me to see a guy who was juiced out of his mind sitting on the sidelines while my pudgy ass was waddling around the field. I got there taking no short cuts. I made the best out of my genetics through hard work and dedication to the sport of football. I thought about where I would have ended up if I geared up. DI-A instead of DII, maybe a legit shot at the pros. It wasn't worth it to me. I can look my son in the eye and tell him you don't need that shit to be successful without any hipocrasy.
I'm gonna laugh when he loses to Stevenson because of a "rib void" or because someone was calling his hotel room too late the night before, or whatever its gonna be this time
Imaging BJ if he was on roids and/or HGH. His skills + better conditioning, strength, and speed? It'd be ridiculous. That's probably why he hates fighters he thinks are cheaters so much.
