People underestimating Batista's impact on MMA

Coming from an athletic background and having trained in multiple striking arts people must be deluded to count him out. He has been training for a good while now, no reason why he can't make similar waves as Lashley or even Brock

For people doubting he can't take a punch a while ago several reports said that he got into it with Booker T who is a legit badass and it was a good back and forth until Booker T started getting the better of him but Booker is a former WCW and WWE champion and has more experienced in hardcore matches.

....

"Booker T who is a legit badass"... serious??? LOL.

His impact would be linear to what he is to be marketed as.. My speculation is that there arent enough people interested in the MMA vs Pro wrestling thing.

The guy is already FORTY TWO years old. He might be able to pull a Herschel Walker and beat up some midlevel guys, but he's never going to make it to the top of even a regional promotion.

I'm sure he'd tool the average cabbie, but the average pro would probably smoke him...

Lot of wrestlers say he is one of the more tougher guys in the locker room and he works some matches quite stiff.

"According to WWE.com's interview with Booker T. about the fight: “It was simply about respect, that’s all.” Booker T, sporting a swollen left eye, commenting exclusively to WWE.com about the bloody and brutal fight he had with former World Heavyweight Champion Batista on the set of the SummerSlam commercial Monday in Encino, Calif. It took a number of SmackDown Superstars to pull Batista and Booker T off one another in a fight that lasted at least five minutes. “I’m not going to say anything else about it. The fight had to do with respect,” says Booker."
