Im looking for people with a story or what they think would be good for a documentary. Im a young filmmaker and I would like to put something together along the lines of a Rites of passage dvd. Please let me know if anyone is interested in helping in anyway. Superfight34@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
Alex

Do one on all the guys turned down for tuff

How about Ron Krull, Jaime Levine or Manny Reyes? Maybe a documentary on Kimbo.

In all seriousness this sport is full of stories.
Look for the ones that interest you.

i teach kids does that count?

kimbo! but you'll have to share the bread with him and iceberg.

What would you guys like to see?

We want to see the behind the scenes action with highlights of the fights. Mostly I would like to see the specific training that certain fighters use. Some background on their family relations and how supportive they are to a fighters success. Also some of the really grity negotiations between fighters, managers, and promoters.

Honestly, if I want to just see fights I can watch any number of professional productions. But they never show the sacrifices and pain of everyday life of up and coming fighters trying to make a buck.

BJ Penn, background interests and lifestyle outside of MMA, Family relationships etc, general insight.

Brian Johnston's story would make an awsome movie

I would love to see a documentary of someone preparing for Abu Dhabi. The training, the prep, etc.

Especially after reading the updates on his web site.

The honesty that He and his wife have with themselves as well as the public is often times crushing...

Do yourself a favor do the Brian Johnston story if done properly I can assure you that a lot of high level people in the MMA world would love to be a part of it.

Including myself being that I gave you the idea :)

I've been trying to find someone thats getting ready for ADCC, but Im having trouble. Anyone know someone???

I'd like to hear Brian Johnston's story. I just finished my first script. I would love to write a true MMA story. Let me know. Superfight34@hotmail.com

Kyle Maynard is the obvious answer.

I never did any MArtial arts or real individual sports until Medical School. I made it through school and managed to compete in the Pan-Ams and have a 4-1-1 record in MMA.

Im in Kansas City.

do one on Rener and Ryron Gracie. start it from Helio and you've got yourself an epoch.

If Lawdymama is suggesting Skip then I would like to second the notion. That would be an awesome story that could even get big exposure like the Smashing Machine.

Skip is a great idea. Also, come to Chicago and interview/film Carlson Gracie Sr and his school.

what about a retired fighter.. i may come out to fight for a fighter who needs surgery and donate the money....grew up in foster homes alot of abuse..depresion problems suicide attempts juvenile hall.. prison...ended up champ of 3 shows married with a wonderful family now... went from hell to heaven in just 30 years...lol...
