Seems like this year is the year to watch as they are predicting about 200 meteors an hour.
Anyone else going to be watching?
I'm at a beach house in south jersey so I'm gonna go out on to the beach about 10-11 to see what I can see. 
Hopefully not too many clouds out on long Island. Gonna try to go to the north fork around midnight to get away from the lights

Clear skies in the forcast here. I've been planning on driving up the mountain to watch them with the wife and kids from the same spot we watched the last eclipse. It takes us about 45 minutes to get up there from our house, and there are zero city or town lights nearby to brighten the sky and impare brightness of the constellations. My town only has 360 people in it and basically nothing more than perhaps a half dozen street lights in it, and it's so far below and on the other side of the mountain, and the next town is an hours drive away. Nothing but blackness up here once the Jeep lights go off. Some lawn chairs.........or if I end up having to go up alone depending on the time I will have a fatty to enhance the moment!

I'd assume that time frame is the height of the shower and you'd still see a good amount before and after.
Yea still going to watch. My buddies were just visiting from out of town, and we did a bunch of mushrooms the other night and hung out in the back yard. We saw quite a few meteors too, so should be good tonight.
