The PFC extends the promotional contract of “Prince Akbari”
Dustin Akbari signs new promotional contract extension with PFC!

Today the Palace Fighting Championship, PFC® has announced that it has come to a contract extension with promising lightweight Mixed Martial Artist “Prince” Dustin Akbari (3-0). Akbari, who trains with WEC® Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber, and the Ultimate Fitness team is a prodigy in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. He has been training with Faber and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Cassio Werneck since he was a teenager is considered one of the preeminent lightweight prospects in the world. Akbari is a winner of numerous submission grappling tournaments including the 2007 Grapplers Quest Advanced division championship at 169 lbs. He made his professional debut in 2006, then took time off to concentrate on further development of his skills. He signed a multi fight contract with the PFC in May of 2008 and has gone 2-0. The current multi-fight extension will keep the talented lightweight in the PFC through 2009.

Akbari, is next scheduled to compete at PFC 12 in January
