phillip miller?

16-0 ufc vet from williams combat grappling

whats his story? he has beat some pretty good competition. did he retire
or get injured? why did he never fight in the ufc after his 2 wins?

I was wondering that as well. Seemed like a good and really promising fighter.

About every couple months a new Philip Miller thread arrives!

Basically horribly boring fighter, who got in a huge dispute with the Dana over money for a potential fight with Baroni. Pretty much P.Mill didn't like the fact that Baroni was getting paid three times the money.

Either he was fired or quit, I'm not sure.

Well that explains why he left the ufc. Wonder why he left fighting all together though.

A very good strategist and competitor but I got the impression he didnt feel he was getting his due for his record and the comp he had beaten.

He was a boring, ugly fighter. No striking at all, very rudimentary submission game. If Mark Weir knew how to finish a triangle he wouldn't have been undefeated.

If thats true how did he beat those guys he had no business on paper beating?

Miller threads have replace the Lyoto ones.

"If thats true how did he beat those guys he had no business on paper beating?"

Basically by being a good wrestler and a pretty tough guy. Still, he was seriously underskilled in most areas and horrible to watch in general.
