I'm sure DFW won't read this and if he did, he won't respond. However I must ask, WTF was he thinking when he called this kid the next AS??? Seriously the guy can't stop a TD to save his life. Last weekend he fought on a Dakota Fighting Championship card and lost by SD, the one judge must of been drunk to score it for him. Any time his opponent wanted to take it to the ground, he got it there. It's pretty sad to see honestly. I think he bought into what Dana said and it went to his head, the guy hasn't evolved at all from what I saw. I think he truly believes he's still a superior talent which I don't think he is. I'm not trying to fighter bash, I'm more curious as to how DFW could be so far off on his fighter talent evaluation. I actually was a fan of Nover on TUF and wanted to see him do well but when he showed up to the weigh in to fight Efrain, I could tell he had been drinking far too much of his own Kool-Aid.
Maybe this has been brought up once or twice before and I apologize for that but man I just couldn't believe how bad he looked. Again I'm not trying to fighter bash but how could DFW been so far off with this guy?
Danas reading. HI Dana any word on my resume ?

This is true, however it doesn't explain how DFW missed so badly on him.
He was young and had a ton of potential at the time. I think going into TuF he hadn't even had a pro fight..or maybe 1. I think Nover's biggest problem has always been mental. He had solid TDD in training shots I've seen, but he loses his timing in the ring.

I think you are right it's all mental with him. Like I said, I think he started drinking his own Kool-Aid after DFW talked him up. He got beat then started doubting himself?? I'm not sure but maybe he can turn it around and find his way back to the big show but it's going to be a long road IMO.

Nah, he doubted himself from the start. Don't forget, he fainted before he even got on the show. He was just standing there and then passed out. It sucks because he did seem to have a lot of skill, and had a lot of room for development.

Maybe he did. Also, beating a bunch of TUF guys doesn't mean you're the next AS Hooker.
