Pic of Kosei Inoue at Pride?

Does anyone have a pic of Kosei Inoue when they showed him at Pride? My asian friend wants his hair just like Kosei Inoue's, and he needs a reference. None of us taped the show, unfortunatley.

Just tell him to grow his hair, lol...

Excuse my ignorance, but who is Kosei Inoue? One of the Judokas in the audience they kept referring to?

Yes.

LOL at this.

KOSEI INOUE had a VERY concerned look at his face as he saw how Vanderlei was punishing his Judo fellow Yoshida.

"KOSEI INOUE had a VERY concerned look at his face as he saw how Vanderlei was punishing his Judo fellow Yoshida. "

punishing w/ what? a few peppering leg kicks? LOL

LEt me see:

  1. STRIKES

  2. SUBMISSION ATTEMPS

and

  1. WITH A NICE JUDO STYLE THROW FOR IPPOOOOONNNN!!!! AT THE START OF TEH MATCH

LOL WAND BY IPPOOOOOONNNNN!!!

HOW DID SILVA GET OWNED ON THE GROUND WHEN HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO GOT LEGIT SUBMISSION ATTEMPS???

I MEAN WTF???

OK please lets debate this intellectually.

Now can you please explain to me how did Yoshida dominate and "own" silva on the ground?

Please answer this: Did Silva get several submision attemps at Yoshida and if so does that not count?

Yoshida passed Wanderlei's guard pretty easily while Silva couldn't pass Yoshida's.

and how is Yoshida's choke not a legit attempt? he had it he just had to sink it in, just like Silva's triangle in the first match, and the armbar attempts in this one. also as jrobertson mentioned Yoshida swept Silva to get the choke attempt.

fact of the matter is Yoshida is not considered to be at BJJ BB level on the ground by most and he did very well against one in Silva. not to mention the aspect of strikes on the ground, Silva is far more experienced in that scenario.

its a wonder that Yoshida did as well as he did when Silva should of completely destroyed him in every aspect.

when all is said and done Silva should of won the match by KO or Submission.

but

he didnt.

  1. "Yoshida took Silva down and punished him like a baby."

But that is simply incorrect. They both took each other down. Silva took Yoshida down at the start of the fight with a nice throw (ashiwaza). The throw itself was ippon quality throw.

  1. "Got him in side control and pounded on his face, then he went for an armbar"

Well Yoshida got one submission attemp on Silva. Silva got 3 submission attemps on Yoshida. Two armbars from guard and one triangle choke.

  1. "The the rest of all the fight he was desparately trying to avoid any kind of groundwork and started the time killing counterpunching strategy. Everytime Yoshida wants some ground action with the brazilian jiu jitsu black belt- Silva wanted to have no part of. "

Actually I do not agree with you on this at all. Silva wanted to strike as this is his forte and he also tried to take Yoshida down but it is hard as Yoshida is elite grappler. Yoshida also tried to take Silva down several times but it also proved to be difficult.

In this fight no one owned but Silva had teh upper hand. Yoshida did well but Silva won clearly.

You are gay

Thanks for keeping this ttt'd for me.

Does anyone have a pic?

wjbjj,

why are you so obsessed with that friggin throw? You're an excellent Judo judge. Yes, it would've been an ippon if it were a Judo comp. Now get over it.

Pretty cool how the bjj bb continually got passed though, you gotta admit, yet couldn't seem to pass successfully himself. I really can't explain it. I mean, being a bjj bb and also being considered the top dog in the fight game and he really couldn't deal with a straight Judo guy on the ground. How can we explain that?
