Mini-FRAT, but I appreciate the help
I just turned 20 and As of right now the only legit training with any type of credentials and acheivements is our BJJ school and a Boxing gym I train at as well. There are no true wrestling or kickboxing schools in the area at all, only "MMA" gyms that get handled most of the time in MMA. I've been training BJJ for almost 2 years now and boxing for maybe a few months if you added it all up.
My plan is to continue to train here up until I get my degree (3 more years) as tuition is very cheap and I can be without alot of distractions, and then move off to a big time school for example AKA, Greg Jackson's, etc.
Do you think that long of training in BJJ (would be 5 years) and Boxing (3 years) would prepare me to be on a professional level and give me a good base for professional MMA? Also what type of school would be in my best interest? Maybe a wrestling oriented gym because that's what I'll be lacking? Or should I go now while I'm still very young and not waste time? Thanks for the input.
1st, get your degree. Its the most important piece of the puzzle.
Go to a University with a good wrestling program and train hard.

you mean gym?
ttt
Sorry, I meant you should go to a post-secondary institution with a good wrestling program.
If your local College/University doesn't have this and you want to pursue MMA, why not go to another place that has it.
But get the degree so you have something.

I always figured you'd have to have a base in wrestling to do it at a university, and no the one im at doesnt offer it unfortunately
Thread is confusing.

in what way
Someone with a green name give this man some advice dammit!! Stop trying to get fucking laughs from your internet boyfriends posting random shit.
Keep it real
If thats all you have then REALLY focus on learning BJJ and boxing as best you can, dont even worry about "MMA"
If your college has a wrestling program start training with them, even if your not on the team a lot of places let guys train anyway
Learn the individual skills WELL! If your really going to move to a place like Jacksons/Grudge or AKA theyll help put it all together then... and youll do better if you better at the individual skills... so just learn all you can for now.
And make damn sure you graduate!
Degree is important,
even if you do make it big there will be a period of time when you aren't getting paid.
Other than that BJJ and Boxing are great. You can always add to that.
