Stupid question - I assume this is a smaller plane. How many parachutes are in planes like this?
Anyone got a link to the feed?

Probably none? It is a 16 passenger jet that was headed to London.

I assume there would be some (bare minimum) and if used for some passengers, it would lighten the load of the plane somewhat which might help with a crash type landing. I have no clue about the weight of the plane, etc. Just asking
Hope they make it!

Is this going to be like that little kid that was stuck on a balloon floating into the Bolivia that we all watched live.. and then he wasn’t even on it?
Imagine being on that plane and being given the choice between jumping from the plane with a parachute for the first time in your life without an instructor attached to you or taking your chances with the landing.

I am no expert, but I don’t think they put parachutes on commercial planes for many reasons.
