I was curious as to what muscle group planks work?
Planks= When you're in the push-up position, but you're supporting yourself on your forearms as oppose to your hands.
I did 6 sets of 90 seconds, with a 45 second break in between sets.
What muscles does this exercise work?
It works your core muscles. To increase the difficulty factor, try
holding one leg up, then try holding one arm up in that position.
If that becomes too easy, try holding up your right arm/left leg,
then left arm/right leg simultaneously.

and if that is too easy, try to raise your entire body and your 4 limbs at the same time, I hear that becomes easier with practise....
How about wall sits? I just did 6 sets of 1:00 each.
Damn, I felt like my legs were 50 lbs heavier when I was done with each set.
Where are you sore? Those are the muscles you used.
