Possible suspect in PED supply chain - Lorenzo F.

Have you ever seen the movie - The Usual Suspects?

Sometimes, it's the one you would suspect the least.

Before the Fertittas sold the UFC, it was always quite clear to tell that Lorenzo was on the juice. Probably for a very long time. His upper body, receeding hairline (which his brother who is 7 years the elder does not have) showing the obvious signs.

His long time friend and partner, Dana White, also shows all the signs of someone who is juicing. Just compare what he used to look like to now. Used to be skinny but now looks bloated. Bloated being sort of the opposite of "skinny fat". A typical side effect of someone who takes steroids but does not have a strict diet that a person who's not juicing would need to maintain that physique. Has constant outbursts - signs of roid rage.

These two guys ran the UFC when the phrase "they are all juicing" became popular. "they" being the UFC roster.

Do you really think that Dana and Lorenzo just looked the other way and had no idea who was juicing and who wasn't?

UFC's top stars would get free passes, drug test results being hidden on multiple occasions, other times top talent would get passes to fight even though the UFC knew about failed results ahead of time. If the bosses would go as far as that to make sure their business thrived, is it really out of the question to think that they themselves could have been connecting the fighters with PEDs while simultaneously hiding it?

Bonnar, an important figure of making the UFC mainstream failed multiple times and was suspended.

Anderson Silva, Brock Lesnar, the list goes on.

GSP, a superstar talent actually quit because he knew the inside information. His last fight before taking an extended absense from the sport, Hendricks, a known PED user.

Fertittas leave and suddenly USADA is in play. UFC is no longer the same as it was before.

Very powerful figures in Las Vegas, a city where narcotics run rampant. Yet when the Fertittas were in charge, you rarely, if ever, heard about NSAC.

Who, if not Lorenzo, could organize all of this, run the logistics to keep it under wraps, while all the top guys at the time seem to have been left shells of their former selves after he left?

I always assumed that when a potential star (as in moneymaker for the UFC) was invited to have their camp at the UFC performance institute, it wasn’t just technique, fitness, and fight planning.

Shades of Vince McMahon and the WWF in the early 90s... the trial was infamous, doubt the fertitta's would put themselves in that line of fire though

Had that thought as well.

what’s funny to me is how anti-dope gsp became when we all knew he was on the sauce most of his career before that.

Just as likely that he left knowing that the show was over.

One of the many reasons they got out.

I think so as well. I actually wanted to bring up McGregor in the original post and how he was very close to Lorenzo & Dana.

Nate also accused McGregor of steroids which McGregor harshly refuted.

Agree with all. Maybe most....

This is the most ridiculous accusation in mma history. Think about what you’re saying:  Lorenzo Fertitta supplied the UFC roster with PED’s. How f***ing stupid is that?  The guy and his brother were over $40 million in the hole with Zuffa, we’re pushing legalization of mma nationwide through lobbying, and he’s gonna sling needles and syringes to his contractors?  Gtfo of here, tinfoil hat.

I never said this. I said he could have been part of the supply chain connecting fighters to the product. Doesn't mean Lorenzo ran a steroid lab out of his backyard or personally put the product in the figher's hands.
