Kobe, whether its due to injury or old age, cant take over and wins games by himself anymore. Bynum is going to be irrelevant for the 3rd straight playoffs. Artest was a downgrade. The bench is utter crap. That means much of the playoff may depend on Gasol AND Odom to dominate down low. How confident are you that Odom will come through game after game?

Kobe doesn't really need to play much in this series. Just hit his shots here and there and solid defense, which is what he did today. Lakers have OKC by the balls with their length and depth down low.
If things get close he could take over but I don't think the lakers will need too much of that this series.
