Fedor estinguished the PRIDE HW division (deepest in history), fact.
Estinguished Sylvia and Arlovski in Affliction, easy.
At 30-1, his legacy is intact, the greatest HW fighter to ever grace the MMA ring/cage.
At this point of his career a run in the UFC is all that is left, and one of the most anticipated fights in history with Brock Lesnar.
UFC, or no UFC Fedor is the best, but anything outside the UFC from this point is his career forward adds nothing to his legacy or reputation (unless he cuts to 160 and cleans out the DREAM LW division).

All of Fedor's nutslobbers would be satisfied with Fedor vs. Shaq. He will never fight the best. Brock is the true #1 HW.

I predict that Fedor's next fight will be against Josh Barnett in Japan, some sort of joint venture promotion, and before the end of the year.
And it will be a block-buster event, and turn out to be one helluva fight.
Why?
Several reasons. To begin, Josh Barnett will be looking to vindicate himself and save his career; secondly, because Fedor and Josh are friends, Fedor will accept Josh's (private) apology and agree to the fight. Thirdly, Fedor's camp (and Josh's) both know that there's still big interest and a big market for this fight, and they both can make some serious money.
