Everyone needs to chill the bastard out.
Tim will have seen horrors at war that you, I and me wont be able to comprehend.
I'm not sure what the OP's agenda is here in trying to draw Dana's attention to Tim's tweets but it does seem slightly underhand.
I know you're a MOD and are allowed to fighter bash within reason but I don't think it's fair.
Just my two cents.

Read the article and show me where I fighter bash. Also, is "slightly underhand" similar to "dissapoint?"
UGCTT_EnderTL -Haha!Elias Cepeda -Are you a mod who is actually arguing with Calo?superCalo - I don't follow tim kennnedys twitter either but it looks as though some of these tweets may have been selectivly taken our of context, I'm not saying thats the case but its possible that he may have been meaning something entirely more innocent, someone who follows his twitter may know this or not so at this stage its just a possible explaination.
I don't have a problem with what he tweeted so feel free to find, copy and paste all the "context" you want.
I don't have a problem with what he tweeted, and I didn't have a problem with what Miguel Torres tweeted. This article is how those things are similar and how the consequences for one could be similar.
Wait... Are YOU Calo?

In terms of fighter bashing: On this occasion it comes across like you are attempting to inform Dana that Tim's antics are worthy of sacking.
I just don't think that's fair on Tim. Let Dana be the judge on who gets sacked.
It's hard enough in these dark days of recession to make ends meet. We shouldn't be proactively seeking each others financial demise.
Outlaw'd by Lytle -you meant "underhanded." You know that when something is on twitter, it isn't a secret, right? I'm not "informing" Dana of anything.Elias Cepeda -Underhand = sly.Outlaw'd by Lytle - Everyone needs to chill the bastard out.

I give you credit for the melodrama of the last two sentences and bonus points for the high-end words but that isn't what I'm doing brotha.
Anyway, I don't know Tim Kennedy personally but I like everything I've seen of and from him, including his tweets. But if you don't think fighters posting about the things he did on twitter is newsworthy after other fighters have recently gotten fired for similar stuff, then I don't know what to tell ya
Elias Cepeda - Tim Kennedy vs. Brian Stann. The loser's branch of the military gets cut to save money in the budget for student loan rates not being raised...Fuck ya-a!

I wasn't trying to be melodramatic though. I just don't think this was the wisest of threads from a MOD.
Having said that and having had a few hours to analyse the entire thread it does appear your intentions weren't malicious in design.
I think perhaps you've been a little naive, nothing more.
This thread will make a good case study for Kirik to use whilst training new MODS. Demonstrating the dangers of not thinking things through before posting.
Each day presents a new lesson for us all to learn from.

Elias, unfortunately you've been thoroughly trolled here.
What has Kennedy said on Twitter? Anyone....?
Yawn, it's not funny, neither is Calo.
One of the admirable things about the UG is its stance on fighter bashing.
Not only is this a very respectful stance but it helps encourage fighters to actively engage with forum members.
The point I'm making is - do you think this kind of thread is in that spirit? I'm not saying that was the intent, it's evident it wasn't. It's a perception issue.
If I was Tim Kennedy would I be grateful for this thread? Would it make me want to become part of the forum?
I'm simply offering food for thought.
Outlaw'd by Lytle - One of the admirable things about the UG is its stance on fighter bashing.I find your food delicious and crunchy, thank you! I imagine that Kennedy, who tweets like this all the time, it seems, would welcome the attention to his twitter account and awesome comedy videos that he produces that this thread and that story bring. But who knows? Maybe not.

Doesn't really concern me. The only time I gave an opinion on Kennedy as a person, figure or athlete in this thread and this story, I gave gushing favorable opinions of him. I think it takes a special kind of troll or comprehender of words to think otherwise
superCalo -var so = new SWFObject("http://www.youtube.com/v/HKtphxYNDHM?version=3&feature=player_detailpage", "postVideo-39205374-Flash", "425", "355", "9.0.28", "##000"); so.addParam("allowScriptAccess", "samedomain"); so.addParam("allowNetworking", "internal"); so.addParam("wmode", "transparent"); so.write("postVideo-39205374"); Tim Kennedys latest parody, Ushers "yeah" done muslim stylz
Are you suggesting that Kennedy dressed himself up in garb that, in part, could very well have spiritual and religious significance, to make fun of Muslim people in some way? I personally highly doubt someone with his military background and overall demonstrated high moral character would do something like that, and I hope you consider the possible consequences of your bashing him in suggesting that he would. I also hope that Kennedy or someone connected to him through twitter comes on here to talk directly about how he feels about a forum member like yourself disparaging his character in such a way...
