Pride is good for MMA

Now I don't want this to get into debate about Pride is better than the UFC or vice versa.

Pride brings competition to MMA. When people support organizations like UFC, Pride, or IFL then this forces each organization to be better than one another to fight our our business. We now can watch MMA free on tv because of this.

I ordered Pride this morning and I think it will be an exciting event.

Pepsi vs. Coke
Blockbuster vs. Hollywood video
McDonalds vs. Burger King

Imagine if you didn't have a choice. They wouldn't care about service or price because what are your other options.

True and if it were not for hollywood video they would have sent me to collections for $5 in late fees. Instead they forgave the debt and gave me some free rentals, they now have reduced their prices and extended their rental dates; before that they were like F you you get what we give you.

Why would the UFC ever need to listen to its fans about matchups and such when they are the only game in town. They don't need to change anything because you will watch them anyway. Same thing with Pride in Japan
