Thats one of those fights I would of loved to c a few years back.
This is sadly one of the great figths that never happened. If this fight would have happened around 2002/2003, I would have put my money on Chuck who was the more accomplished fighter at Light Heavyweight. Contrary to the Chuck of today, in his prime, Chuck possessed a hell of a chin and was larger and also a better striker than Hendo.Also, Henderson in his prime tended to brawl a little too much and not to play to wrestling base which would have been his undoing in this matchup.
Probably Chuck. He's naturally bigger than Dan.
Decision I'd say.. Dan could take some punishment.

Well, id have to say that was one of the fights that made him "after his prime" however considering that Wand was just KTFO by CC in the fight prior and didnt look all there (just as Hendo didnt look at there vs Jake) and in addition, i dont think Wand had much to gain in that fight by beating Hendo again so i think that was a real tough fight for Wand to take......though you got to give it up to Hendo for KOing him with his left hand.
They are both bonafide baddasses.

Randy managed to beat him. Albeit with strikes but Hendo has a hard ass head. I could see hendo pulling a rampage style beat down on ole chuck.
At 205, Chuck is by far the better of the two.

Chuck all the way... and in his prime he would have been able to eat the overhand right as well.
Prime Chuck had a granite chin, an awkward and dangerous striking style, and the wrestle-kryptonite. He would not TKO Dan, but he'd certainly win a clear decision via his striking, which Dan would play into. Dan would struggle to outwrestle him. Most of all, Henderson -- prime or not -- is always inconsistent. Chuck Prime isn't.
I feel like I'm talking about comic book characters.
The day Dan Henderson's chin gives out is the day the last of MMA's legends die.
And Henderson would've given prime Chuck as many problems as prime Rampage did.
