clean hendo or frankenhendo?
Hendo by far, and how many of these threads will we see? Theres one every other week 
I think hendo would take this. Chuck has always been overrated. Don't get me wrong he was good but not as good as some people make out.

SDinsomniac - When would you consider Hendo in his prime? For me its hard to tell cause he keeps knocking people out. For Chuck id say after he beat Overeem in Pride is when he was pretty beast mode.Debatable when hendos was in his prime or he's even reached it yet

I watched them spar a few times back in the day. Hendo came to train at The Pit for a few weeks. I have a picture somewhere of Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, and Matt Lindland sitting on the Pit Masters couch. Anyways, Chuck would definitely take it!

i teeter on this one. back in the day i thought chuck for sure nowadays i dont know. i think chuck has better kickboxing and with it better footwork and angles. dan has the huge right hand of the lowkick. but dan is a better wrestler than chuck but chuck is notoriously hard to keep down. for who said randy broke chuck and dan is randy with 100x the power. i dont really disagree with you but in context i think chuck took randy lightly in their first fight. chuck had all the intro and hype and was supposed to murder the old man and then thats not what happened. he took him seriously the next 2 fights and we know what happene there. also i dont think dan can quite do the same things randy can do when it comes to the strictly wear you down in the clinch/wrestling type things than randy is known for.
that being said, in his prime, chuck has better flurries and can fight and even end fights going backwards. ive seen dan be wobbled by carlos newton. dan is aggressive when he thinks he has you hurt and if he lands one of those big punches in his head hes gonna think youre at least stunned but i think a prime liddells chin holds up and while moving backwards while being stunned he catches dan coming in too aggressive and finishes. tko due to strikes somewhere before the final horn.

dan uses the clinch to make chuck think hes gonna tire him out before unloading some serious power on chuck thus ko'ing or GnPing chuck out.
the real question is if the fight went to decision who would win? i say us the fans.
1) Herring you mention Chuck fought all those guys but forget to mention hes 0-2 against Rampage, fought Wandy when Wandy was 0-2 which holds little merrit. SHogun destroyed him as well.
2) His Prime was after he got destroyed by rampage and ended after he got destroyed by page again
3) He went 2-1 in Pride. 1 against Overeem a gatekeeper and 1 against UFC fighter
4) When he fought Rampage he was considered to be the top UFC athelete., Rampage at that time was probably barley #5 and top 10. He lost.
5) Henderson has always fought the best through out his career.
6) no matter how you put CHuck reigned in a week division and failed to be top 5 in Pride.
Standup advantage to chuck. Plus his TDD equals chuck via UD
