Roy every time. All he'd need to do is dance around the ring a bit till Tank gassed, then in for the easy KO.

I wrote this thread not long ago. Not well received. Roy always gets hit, VS prime Tank that was an issue big time.....

People like to make the comparison between these two because of belly,facial hair, and punching power. Tank is one of those guys who is just pure raw talent! Roy Nelson is MMAs hardest worker! Tank had the ability to be the real deal because he was a killer and very athletic for his size. Tank's had strength, good wrestling natural pop in his hands. Plus his hand speed wasn't slow. The guy was also quick on his feet. Roy Nelson worked for everything he got ! He wasn't a blessed as Tank was! The only thing he had natural like Tank is KO power! If Tank trained like Roy he would have been an unbelievable heavyweight !
Could u imagine Tank with ground defense and offense with a boxing coach like Jeff Mayweather?!?!?! He would have literally mauled people on the ground until they quit or knocked them out like Roy! Tanks down fall was he couldn't stay away from the Booz!
Three guys that had natural ability for mma that should have took it serious!

Tank has one way to win, a KO, and that is no mean feat vs Nelson, even with Tanks power. Nelson can KO Tank, sub him with ease or cardio him to a decision. Nelson takes this too easily.
Nelson by ko standing, it would have been interesting to see them in a boxing match with mma gloves however

Tank went 20-25 with Oleg back when he was in his prime. He also has great wrestling and LEGIT one-shot KO power. Tank nearly killed people in his prime..
I'm not sold on Nelson one little bit. He is solid B-Level at most.
