John9 - Both these guys have no personality. It's a waste of a primetime. They should save it for GSP's return

Lol this a troll right? Mentioning gsp and personality in the same post is nothing short of hilarlar

GSP: This is the toughest opponent i have faced
insert him wrapping hands and sparring
GSP: this is the best GSP I have ever been
insert him clinching teeth as he throws a body kick
GSP: serious look
insert gymnastics and Greg Jackson

im a huge GSP fan but yeah, it gets old Phone Post

It actually comes back for Jones/Rashad in April.

chaplinshouse -  small interest in a robotic JDS piece.  zero interest in reem.  don't care to see Primetime use their efforts to try and somehow humanize him because i already know he's a disloyal, no soul asshole.  primetime pieces work best when the guy is interesting AND likeable.  He's neither.

Mono-toned robot voice:  "yes... dis how i eat my horse mit"  *chews for 13 minutes during primetime's stale drumbeat*

Bas?

Should be a pretty good primetime. Reem is used to cameras and comes off very well on TV.

And JDS is such a likable guy. He isn't controversial or a drama queen or anything, but he does have a nice guy charisma. A lot of viewers would be charmed by that sort of guy. So saying JDS has "no personality" is not really looking at it the right way - a good director can easily make a JDS piece very interesting, and draw the viewer into pulling for him.

Also these are two of the hardest hitters out there. That itself will fuel many of the training montages.

There will almost certainly be no drama queening or trash talking between these two since they are both classy and pretty PC, but despite that I think a Primetime for this fight is a very good idea. The right director will not have a problem making both guys into characters that audiences will eat up.
