Prince’s Rendition of Creep

I dunno how I feel about this....

The guitar solo is pretty wicked though....

Later. Always down to watch Prince wail on a guitar.

Prince was probably the most talented musician in our lifetime. They will never be another like him...ever.

Such a big loss. One of the most talented musicians in history.

I live a mile away from Paisley Park, will never forget the impromptu concerts/parties. If he turned the purple lights on at Paisley, it was first come first serve to the public. Eating pancakes at 4am there afterwards. Good times.

His guitar work really punched things up. Vocals, not so much.

Just about the most effortless stage performer ever. He played guitar like you dream about playing on stage.

is creep the most covered song?

Was lucky wnough to attend one ofbhis shows at his residency in Vegas (forgot what casino)

It was only about 75 people in attendance. We were all sitting at little cocktail tables and shit

Nice post.

I was there.

Prince was a late addition, which was sort of weird. Portishead was the original headliner that night.

Prince was a bad motherfucker.

Prince was a genius, but that cover is retarded.

Hard to argue.

There are people who only know "Little Red Corvette" and "Party Like it's 1999" who think he was JUST a pop guy.

Motherfucker could shred on a guitar like one of the GOAT

Solo at the end rocked but otherwise...not feeling this version too much.  Seems like it had potential - like this was a rough idea that could have been honed into a very interesting version.  But didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

No knock on Prince, who was massively talented.  No one bats 1000

Ha, he's such a narcissist. He changed the lyrics to "I wish you were special".

Nice I was there too, front row !  He was crazy late, over an hour I think. Amazing performance. Expect when they got all gospel, that was weird. Also Prince was the smallest man I have ever seen. Probably 5.’2 110 pounds
