TSMontana - I once learned a full mount escape to Boston Crab. My school had a $100 bounty for anyone who could pull it off in a competition (submission grappling or MMA).
Pretty sure the crab is actually banned in a lot of sub grappling competitions.
For the others, well, a heel hook is a lot easier to set up then a figure four, RNC easier than a camel clutch, and I didn't actually think the chicken wing was an actual submission...it always looked way too goofy.

I used a Cobra clutch in a drunken fight at my house years ago.
I started to release pressure when I felt him going out but he started up again before I let him go, the half-nelson part of the hold made it easy to adjust his attitude via forehead to fridge door (left a dent too)
