Exactly. Like I said, Cerrone won anyway, but it'd be unfair to Radcliff if that takedown was allowed.
My point here, I guess, is that referees are always disparaged when they make imperfect calls but they are never praised when they do a great job - like in this instance.

Great call indeed. I remember one of Arlvosky's first fights in the UFC where he grabbed the fence which directly helped him submit his opponent... it was such BS. Herb is getting better and better lately.

Great call by Herb, very impressed with his refereeing in that fight. There are refs out there who would probably have pretended that fence grab didn't happen just so that they don't create too much controversy by standing them up from that dominant position.
Herb knows what he's doing and isn't afraid to follow through. He does his job right and he definitely earned his paycheck that night, lol.
