My son who is 4'3" and barely 60lbs soaking wet is the youngest and newest kid on his baseball team. After their game this afternoon I hear the biggest kid on the team who is 5' tall and 90+ lbs tell my oldest daughter, "I can POUND your brother!" (He heard that my son does the Jits & Judo). My daughter laughs and says, "you can try!?"
So we're just about wrapping up the pot luck and way off in the distance near the jungle gym, this monster of a kid is throwing haymakers at my son! Throwing kicks and trying to guillotine him!? Thank Allah, each time they tie up, my son tosses him like a rag doll, landing on mount or taking his back. The whole time never throwing one punch or kick, but RNC'ing the kid a few times.
The kodak moment was the look of the other parents faces, including the boys father, who is normally the most outspoken of the group. Speechless, as the big kid just doesn't give up and keeps coming after my son over and over, getting owned over and over.
After the kid tires out I guess, I see couple of his friends trying to take my son down... which doesn't work either... The wifey and I gather up our stuff, and I head over to the jungle gym where my son is and call him over. The whole time, he doesn't know I, along with the whole team's parents were watching him and those boys go at it... LOL the first words outta his mouth to me is, "Eh dad, guess what? Although I missed jiu jitsu this morning, I got a good work out in just now!" LMFAO! As we're walking away, the big kid and all his teammates are like "Bye! Bye Kason! See you at practice!" LOL, it's moments like those that are, as a father, PRICELESS

The best thing to me was that he never threw any punches or kicks back at the kid, and STILL OWNED HIS AZZ... Gracie Jiu Jitsu fren. Gotta love it!

a coule of years ago, he does a high level flying armbar in the 7yearold division(i think he was 5 or 6), and i hear some parents yell "he must be sandbagging"/ lol,cause he was the lightest and smallest in the bracket
anyways, after the match i ask him who taught him that and he says nobody .

lol kg, I haven't told him about this thread... although humble about the whole thing, I don't want it going to his head. So I've pretty much dropped the whole incident. When thinking about it though, it's the discipline that comes from the Judo/JiuJitsu that causes them to think nothing of the incident, as it becomes second nature to them... WHICH IMO IS FRIGGIN AWESOME! LOL! Tell the boyz uncle said HOWZIT!
