Chalupa: It still stink a bit? If so, just soak it with more vinegar, I've used as much as four cups to a really small load of water before washing normally...

I am well known for having Downey fresh smelling gis. My opponents enjoy being mounted by me (wait, that didn't come out right)

I'm gonna try this one and let you guys know. I have an old gi that will smell reasonably clean after a wash and dry but the minute one drop of sweat hits it...funk.
If it's the dry=ok wet=funk, make sure you use 2 cups of vinegar and let it sit for a while.
I just put my gi in the washing machine and they never stinks....strange
maybe it is just the quality of the GI?
I have a normal adidas judo gi.
