Props to Jens on his recent wins and impressive finishes, but Jens fought a complete unknown to a decision right after he left he UFC. Also, he lost to Maxwell by KO, and Maxwell lost his next fight by sub to an not too well known guy also. So its not just the level of competition
Jens looked tough last night. He didn't want to take any chances with the eye, so he just did what he needed to do. His hands are something else! TTT for Lil' Evil.
I was being flippant.
Anyway, my point is attacking those who think some fighters litterally go in JUST to shoot for a dec. I don't think it ever happens, and ALL fighters would like to win quickly if they can.
Jason, i think Pulsars point was that in a few of those decision bouts, opponents didnt want to trade with Jens, or they'd start to trade, then get tagged and back off, making for a boring fight. seems to me whem people go right at him they dont last too long.
with the notable and much discussed exceptions of maxwell and ludwig, and im well aware of both sides of the story in those two.
better believe Pulver is back and i wouldnt want to be the next guy trying to take it up to him.
