Obviously Jens will be the underdog going into this match at NAGA Chicago on May 22, but I was just curious as to hear some predictions.
I, for one, think that Jens will impress a lot of people with his ground skills. IMO, he is known for his standup skills, but this will be a great chance for him to show off his ground game. Parrumpinha is an EXTREMELY tough guy and I respect him a lot, but hopefully this will be Jens' day to shine! :)

From what I know of Parrumpinha, he will be all over pulver. I see Parrumpinha by points.
Here is my analysis.
Pulver was a pretty good wrestler. Won states and competed in college. His sub defense is quite good.
Parrumpinha is a very very good top game player and sweeps from the bottom.
Both are close in size.
The only time I have seen Parrumpinha lose was against Paul Rodriguez who is the only person I have seen that Parrumpinha was not able to take down.
Pulver is a much better wrestler than Paul Rodriguez.
I think Pulver can win the match with takedown points. That said if Parrumpinha can sweep pulver and get on top he will rack up ALOT of points and win via points.
I think 100% w/ Charles. It wouldn't surprise me if jens won 2-0 but if Parrumpinha gets on top, he will win like 10-2 or something like that.

By the way, Parrumpa lost to Paul, who is a though SOB, when he went for the takedown and bounced of the ropes. There are no ropes at the NAGA.

Carlao is correct. Parrumpinha has very good wrestling and has proven to be extremely tough to take down. If parumpinha drops guard I dont see jens being able to pass. I dont know if he could sweep jens or sub him from the bottom either though. I am almost 100% sure someone will win on points though :).

If it was MMA I'd put my $$$ on Jens. In submission wrestling I think Parrumpinha will win on points but it'll be a tough fight.

Purrumpinha should win, he has trained for a long time with good training partners.

Jens' grappling is very underrated IMO. He's respected for his striking/wrestling but he's got a lot more submission knowledge than many people realize. Should be a very good match.
