Puppy Question

My 9 month old pup has one undescended testicle. The vet recommends we remove both. I want him to remain as close to God’s original design as possible.

Is there any risk to giving him the John Kruk procedure?

Fuck that. Don’t let them cut that boy.

The one ball has to go, its a legit health risk.

From what ive read online, most vets recommend taking out both in cases like this…but i havent found a medical explanation why.

Remove all the vital organs, not just the testicles

The risk of cancer is way higher if you don’t

For the properly descended ball too? Its in the scrotum, priper temperature, shouldnt it be ok?

@Mountain_Medic

Have you tried the Red Rocket procedure to get that baby to drop?

No…I’m afraid to ask…

If you’re not going to breed him, remove both.

Anybody able to give me a rationale/pros and cons of removing one or both balls?

Pros -
won’t go nuts if a female dog is in heat somewhere
won’t bring unwanted puppies into the world
may be easier to train
might not be obsessed with pissing on stuff
might be less aggressive to other dogs/people

Cons-
might look funny without his nuts
you won’t be able to harvest his sperm for your fun times

This.

Just went through it.

You do NOT want to see your companion on the slow cancer crawl to death. It is fucking horrific, long and cruel. I wouldn’t wish it on anybody.

It’s not just the slow crawl to death either. It’s afterwards. Knowing that had you fixed the animal, they’d still be around and that they might have had a more peaceful exit when the time came. That guilt will never leave.

Damn we are old, many people do not take that kind of responsibility raising children.

Do you guys mean for just the one ball or both? One of his balls is perfectly in his scrotum. Am i risking cancer by letting him keep that ball?

YES!
