It does remind me of a Pride fight where it was all action, and there was maybe a minute left, and the announcer said something about just being quiet and letting the action speak for itself, then the fighters did nothing for the last minute.

They had me pretty pumped on that card, they are biased though. Can’t stand DCs commentary 99% of the time, he’s incapable of being a neutral commentator and has to compare everyone to himself, always talking like he’s better than these guys who are still active at a high level rather than putting them over. At his peak he surely was better than most of them but that’s not the point, he has a massive ego and it makes him bad at his job.
At the same time Cruz has a massive ego but is one of my favorites for some reason.
He has a boring delivery and style to his commentary but his takes I probably agree more with him than all their other analysts
