Pyramid Push-Ups Question...

I have been doing push-up session in the pyramid style recommended on Scrapper's site, and have absolutely loved them- but am wondering how to make them more intense; is it better to add extra reps (say go to 18) or to decrease the time between reps (say 15 seconds) while still going to 12?

Get Scrapper's tapes and see if you can keep up with his pace.

Decreasing the rest time between each set is one of the quicker ways to make the workout more intense. When that becomes too easy, increase the rest time again and pick a more difficult version like Lazy Dogs or Dive Bombers. When THAT becomes too easy, go back to a simpler variation and add a few more reps. And so on and so on....
