To be honest, I had no clue who Genki was at the time.
He was flying all over the place though. As I recall, Mr. Quach did alright in that tourney. Toe holding everybody. (Except Sudo)
I've always wondered at that time, what were the levels of the guys he was competing against?

Genki was confused about the situation and didn't realize it was a tournament. He thought he was supposed to teach a flying triangle seminar.
I heard from a few NG guys that he was doing some goofy-ass ninja warmup stuff before the matches started and everyone was laughing at him.
