and I love this gun!!!!!!  IT's a ugly gun but out of the box best gun i have ever shot. Dead nuts on. When I went shooting with Glock4life he had a 1911 and I think that is the only gun better than a glock. That 1911 was balanced so well, dream gun....

I had 1911 also; had to sell it but it was the best most accurate weapon I ever shot. My dept carries Glock 21; but the 1911 was better at exact location of rounds.

 Yuki I cannot say that I am a Martial Artist, but I do belive in the way of life, Trained  very little. I need to get back in the gym with Q and Garcia. Probley help my back more. Never enough time in the day.

Ya the 1911 was somthing on a whole new level. Just point and shoot. Best gun in my eye. when I ran through a clip at a dizzing pace the muzzle came back on target with ease. The real question is WHO makes the best 1911?  Everyone and there grandmother makes a 1911. The kinnda know the difference between the makers but Shire do you recomend one?

The reason that I cary is I am a area maneger for a PayDay Advance company. So on any given day I may have to run to the bank and grap 10 to 15 grand. Some of our stores are not in the best spots. I like to think that I am on guard when I make cash runs but with todays day and age who knows what will happen. Banks are getting robed all the time now.

Shire what is your feelings at the street level? with everone lossing there jobs, has crime and robery gone up?

Yes, crime will get tougher. Thing is...you gotta be ready....anytime...any place. I put another child molester away last year (about 20-30 now in all), he had weeks before court, he was a third time looser. I was concerned enough to park in the light so I could hopefully see him coming, had my snap un done. Luckily, he never tried it. he went away for life without trying to take me out....LOOSER!

Shire Thats great your cleaning the streets up from the sicko's. I have a 7 month old daughter and thats what i fear the most. Sexual predotors. Sick people. Well if you ever rember the 1911 let me know. I can just ask Glock4Life what model I shot, But damn was it nice.

 Mike, we shot my Taurus m1911 & my Rock River 1911 compact tactical, both in .45. taurus gets a lot of flack for sub par QC, but their 1911's have a strong following of true believers. I bought it ona whim & so far i've had no issues (about 250-300 rounds so far).

 dumb ass question....Single action means you pull the triger and.......fuck what is the differance between single and double action? and is there a differance in the 1911 that shoot 8 rounds in the clip, one on top of eachother and the clip like my glock that stacks rounds side by side?
