Quatro Dynamo - Anyone?

Back in the books with this past weekend being the start of my second week (Max Strength Day and Endurance Day Sat & Sun respectively). Max Strength Day again felt GREAT. I bumped the weight on squats by 5% & things went well. Bench is feeling strong also (just threw on 10 lbs). Great workout.

Sunday's Endurance Day workout wasn't as intense as last week (kept the same weight with squats) but still kicked my azz. I felt good enough afterwards though to through in some ab work and cool-down with a couple of sprint intervals. I'm liking this program a LOT so far. I too am sleeping well and eating like a horse. Feels like I'm always hungry on this program. I haven't weight-in yet; I've got a doctor appointment tomorrow and am curious to see if I'm up a few lbs. So far, so good.

Xen - 4 sets of 15 reps sounds pretty brutal. I like the 2 x 25 (ok "Like" is a storng word here) because mentally it's easier to drag myself back to the squat rack for round 2 because I can keep telling myself "It's only one more round". 4 sets in that fasion would be tough.

I'm looking forward to Tues and some more 'Good Mornings'. So far, so good.

Peace.

Hypertrophy Range tonight. 'Good Mornings' felt great; supersetted with hanging leg raises were a nice rush. Reverse-grip curls (yea, I do some curls - sue me) were a nice change of pace as well, and close-grip bench press in place of skull crushers (I do skull crushers on max weight day & wanted to break things up). Then some incline dbbell presses supersetted with upright bbell rows. Good overall workout and I'm finished inside of 40 minutes (75 secs in between sets). Hammies feel devastated after the G'Mornings. Great stuff. I'm starving now. Must go kill something and eat it.

Peace.
