Question aboit PS3.

Is there a way to connect an
external hardrive to a ps3?
I would like to watch some movies I have on there on it. Is there a way I can get it to read the hardrive? Phone Post

I never tried this, but I think it has to be formatted as FAT32, or it won't be able to read anything. Also, Sony put a feature for some Blu Ray rips that mutes the sound after 20 minutes on some of them.

DaSiccness - There's this thing called the internet. You can find all your answers there. That's how I did it. Phone Post 3.0

External hard drives connect to your PS3 using a USB cable. The PS3 will recognise multiply video formats. Plug and play. Phone Post 3.0

Yes I used to watch films this way all the time. As someone else said Ext Harddrive has to be Fat32. Phone Post 3.0
