everyone I know recognizes that the homelessness is out of control. many with a Prius or Honda has gotten their cat converter stolen or attempted. but for some reason they also believe Karen Bass will turn it all around.

Yes. I know quite a few who say so. They point to the stats that crime is down overall and that it is “Rebpulican fear mongering” to say crime is up.
They are HARDCORE left leaning. As in, believe the second amendment should be repealed (or all semi autos be banned and confiscated via forced buybacks), are pro forced covid-19 vaccinations, and say white supremacy/anti-semitism is the biggest leader in today’s American problems.
I’ve already mentioned this before, but during the G-Floyd riots, one of them told me if her shop in downtown got looted and destroyed, that she would be okay with it because it would be necessary collateral damage to get the word out on how important it is that racism runs rampant in this country. How do you combat that kind of mentality? You can’t. It reminds of that one chick baker in Oakland that got murdered and her family saying it’s white ppl’s fault that caused minorities to murder their daughter.

I want to go to the final race of the Supermotocross series at LA Colisseum in September but there’s no way I’m staying anywhere near that area and a cab 50 miles out at 11pm isn’t all that attractive either. fuck, you guys really let a good thing go for shit…

Yeah I took the Metro home from a Dodgers game at like 10pm (last train back to the Westside actually) and it was sketchy as fuck. Felt like I was in an Active Self Defense video the entire time.
Want to go to some Clippers playoff games down at Staples (Crypto.com) but not sure if I’ll go because of the fucking Metro. Going to a Kings/Blues game in 2 weeks, but that’s during the day so it’s OK.
