Updated Pro-Debut Form

Effective immediately, boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts pro debut fighters must provide proof of five (5) amateur competitions prior to competing in the professional arena. Proof of the amateur competition, will consist of verification from an amateur sanctioning organization. Proof will need to be submitted with the pro debut form and bout card. The Executive Director will require the proof of competitions of the pro-debut fighter in order to evaluate his/her bout information prior to the scheduled event.

Is there an appeals for extensive training background? Lets say Im a BJJ bb, with 5 years of mma training.  Do I really need to fight 5 other guys who might have trained for 6 months before being allowed to fight pro?

wow, that kinda sucks for fighters in orlando...seeing has how there arent many ammy mma events around here

My question is do you need five fights to be all in one or the other or can you have say 3 kickboxing and 2 MMA to add to 5 fights or do they need to be all MMA ?

ttt for less cans in the pros

are they going to have advanced ammy like in GA?

they are allowing kickboxing matches to count towards your 5 fights

Hey Mike,
it's Joe. They will include kickboxing, boxing, consider wrestling experience and grappling.

Joe, thanks and thats what I heard last week too. Good to hear! Shoot me a message or call sometime, Id love to get a guy or two on your next card.

Renato, for real I owe you a drink or two if we ever meet.  You bring a smile to my face every time I log onto this ground.
