Rampage Jackson, UFC Light Heavyweight Champ 2011.

Sounds good, don't it?

The world will be shocked. Phone Post

The only way it could be any better is if Jones' fragile psyche can't handle the defeat and he quickly fades into obscurity, getting KTFO by TUF vets... ON THE REG. Phone Post

It does sound good, I have nothing against Jones, just nobody should ever go undefeated, it kills your character.

As Jon Jones would say, you've "spoken it into existence." Good job, my friend.

I like both guys, but loyalty is with Rampage. Phone Post

Thought this was a UKTT thread at first. It will probably have the same result...

Yes I would love to keep the old guard here in mma and watch the sport not evolve. I love guys who just go out there and Wang. Dumbass. Phone Post

Machida doesn't Wang. The sport is evolving. Rashad and page don't either. Shogun did tho.. Phone Post

Rampage winning the belt=my night ruined.  I cannot stand him.

I still don't get the hate for Jones.  Even if he is a humongous d-bag (I don't think he is) his fights are always exciting and he always brings it.  How many fights has Rampage apologized for his performance?  He couldn't put away Hamill or Jardine I don't see him beating Jones.

Large Fun Bags - If Rampage wins the belt I will shit in my hand and post it on this thread

Quoted for reposting after the fight.

I want Rampage to win. I am just not sure he could handle Rashad for his first title defense. Phone Post

I don't see it happening. Rampage and his tiny 73 inch reach is going to have to close the distance in order to do any damage. Not sure how that's going to work out. Phone Post

If he does manage to close the distance that probably results in him having to fight in the clinch. We've seen how he performs in that situation in the past...

It blows my mind that wandy destroyed rampage on a regular. Now look how far rampage has gone over wandy...

That hurts just saying that. Wandy is my fav fighter of all time, but he is able to be knocked out to easily now compared to where he was before. To many wars I think.

mcpeepants232003 - god I hope he doesn't win. Really there is no reason to root for Rampage. He's less exciting, not as good a finisher, fights much less often and is well past his prime.

I guess I'll never understand the Jones hate. People constantly bitch about fighters who aren't exciting and Jones is as exciting a fighter as there's been. People always complain about MMA not having top notch athletes and yet Jones is one. People constantly complain about boring wrestlers and Jones is the opposite.

He's basically what everyone wants in a fighter but since he's young the older fans hate him.

I guess, as a Shogun Rua fan, I should be rooting for Page because I know Shogun can kick his ass but I just can't root for a street thug, who acts like a 13 year old, bullies everyone around him, and has surrounded himself with yes men

I'm 19 I like page more than jones. Your theory is flawed. What I want in a fighter is either mayhem or fedor polar opposites. Either larger than life or stoic warrior he is neither. Page is larger than life. Phone Post

if rampage wins, i have a signed HAO figure (from japan) that might be worth a bit more...

so i'd better sell it before the fight i guess ;)

j/k

RAMPAGE fan here and I hope to god he wins

but i got Jones by KO/TKO rd. 2

When Rampage delivers a stunning KO blow.. JBJ falls down in a concuss mess to the mat. The ref steps in and calls the fight.. unaware of the outcome, JBJ scrambles to take guard on the ref (Herb Dean) and continues to apply a triangle choke. After several corner and cutmen step in to intervene Greg Jackson calms the situation and tells JBJ that he won the fight. Demanding an interview JBJ rips a FAKE belt from a fan in the crowd and hoists it above his head. Greg Jackson declares it a clean victory over a formidable opponent (Herb Dean who is mistaken as Rampage by a concuss JBJ) JBJ thanks god and recites a crazy bible verse saying that this was all gods plan.
Rampage is later seen getting arrested for slapping a TMZ reporter at an after party. Rampage and JBJ are treated at a local hospital for PTS.

THE DAY HAS COME.

IT IS WRITTEN!
