**Randleman Staph UPDATE (NOV. 27)

One of the reasons a former writer for mmanews.com left was because Matt Boone (owner) refused to get rid of the spyware/adware stuff because it generated revenue for the site.

If people don't click, they don't have to worry about the risk of a virus which is why some folks simply copy and paste the news here for the very readers YOU wanted to share it with.

"I don't know what everyone is talking about spyware - I saw just as many people say they don't see shit when they visit as those complaining. I visit the site daily, along with Sherdog, MMAweekly, TheFightNetwork, etc. Sherdog and TFN have worse pop ups than MMANews by far but no one mentions that when someone links to an article from them."

If Eric's response is accurate, well... that makes you a liar:

MMANews had a huge spyware problem on its inception.

The fucktard took it all off when he was called on it on here. He SAID he removed it on these self promoting threads.

Actually, it was YOU that said you removed it, FedorFan.

THE UG HAS MANY MEMORIES.

FF, you sure do seem to do a LOT for your "friend." Are you claiming you do so out of the goodness of your heart w/o compensation? What's funny is I don't see Matt Boone coming on here taking half of the crap you do and it is his site;)

Cindy...I don't know why you hold a grudge because one of my interview guys sided with Ortiz over Dana White one time. He did it in a shitty way and I apologized for it, nothing much else I can do.

No writer (Luis Cruz or John Hartnett, not sure which you're talking about) left because of spyware lol. Cruz left because he kept decreasing his work load but wanted his pay the same. Wasn't happening, couldn't come to an agreement - Luis left. We moved on and we're doing as good as ever without him. Hartnett left because MMAWeekly stole him from us, then Sherdog stole him from them - then he left them to work in the office at A.T.T. That covers that.

FedorFan - do the research, someone else did and posted his name and website on here previously. They were correct. It's a buddy of mine from the pro wrestling internet side of shit who I also am friends with offline. He's also got a little upstart MMA site that you could probably have a legit beef with about spyware, not mine though. We have no spyware. If someone can specify it, I'm not ad savvy, I'll talk to the owner (also, not me - even though people seem to think they know everything) and I'll gladly have it removed.

Let me finish mine with one of these too.... ;)

so hows randleman

Matt,

Um... you just admitted there was a problem with the spyware on your site and Eric busted FF for acting like he didn't know when he in fact addressed it before himself.

Sooooo what does this have to do with some "grudge" I supposedly have with Justin because no such problems exist between he and I. In fact, he's friends with my daughters. Try to keep up, mkay?

Cindy

"I don't need to demand anyone's respect but I know that if you try to pimp me out bitch I will fucking beat your ass and pimp you out."- The monster

Fucking love this guy

I get more spyware popups from MMANews.com than any other at work. If I ever se the TS in life I would kick him in the teeth.

Where did I admit there is a problem with spyware on my site? "FF" might've for all I know, I don't keep up with his every MMA.tv move just because I work with the guy in the pro wrestling world.

Regardless, you can't show me a post where I "admit" to any spyware problem - because we don't have one. In fact when these little rants get going about spyware on MMANews I always hit up my boss, who controls the ad distribution on the site, and check in to see if we have anything like that going on. He always assures me we don't. I wouldn't want it to be a problem, webmastering the site I have to log onto it more than anyone else so I gain nothing by having harmful shit running on it. (I'm paid the same salary whether we run 1 or 100 ads)

I'll admit I assumed it was a grudge with Justin, otherwise why else come out of nowhere and bad mouth me for no reason? No one mentioned the name Matt Boone until you chimed in with your 2.....hundred cents.

Remind me next time you're incorrect about why a writer left my site, who owns my site, how much spyware is on it, etc. to throw a "Try to keep up, mkay?" on there. I got the little ";)" down pretty good, still gotta perfect my usage of the "mkay" term.
