Each week the UFC polls various members of the media to update its rankings in each weight division as well as the pound for pound rankings.

With no event this past weekend, there were no major shifts in divisional rankings. The only thing of note is that TJ Grant has been dropped having been inactive for almost a year.

1 Gilbert Melendez
2 Benson Henderson
3 Josh Thomson +1
4 Khabib Nurmagomedov +1
5 Nate Diaz +1
6 Donald Cerrone +1
7 Rafael dos Anjos +1
8 Jim Miller +1
9 Gray Maynard +1
10 Myles Jury +1
11 Michael Johnson +1
12 Edson Barboza +1
13 Bobby Green +1
14 Rustam Khabilov +1
15 Jorge Masvidal *NR

Unsure how I feel about this...

As long as Grant has been out, you would think he had a piano dropped on his head.

But Cruz stayed on... Phone Post 3.0

FinestScotch - Cruz keeps a belt for almost 3 years without activity.

Grant is injured for 345 days on a 5 fight serious hot streak? Bye.

I know it's about the name, but jesus, talk about some bullshit... his 5th win on that 5 streak was against the #9

serious disrespect

Cruz was out for 2 years and 4 months...hardly almost 3 years. ;-)

LOL

So grant and Maynard fight, grant dominates, since then Maynard fights once and was KOd again, and remains ahead of grant.

No consistency at all. Cruz was a dominate athlete in the division but should have been removed from the rankings long ago. If you're inactive for a year, you don't need to be ranked. Only once you fight again should you be considered to be eligible to be ranked. Phone Post 3.0

Lol yeah and he kept the belt for that long, still crazy but goes to show you the division is deep bc every other person on that list deserves it Phone Post 3.0

But Cruz was the champ thats probably why he was kept on.

Now that he has vacated his belt if he goes a year without fighting he will likely be taken off the list.

Lil Nog has been out over a year and isnt ranked. So the Cruz situation was def because of him being the champ.

Like this means anything anyway, stop complaining Phone Post 3.0

so - literally everyones moved up one place because TJ got bumped out?

When Grant fights again and if he wins he'll go back to around where he was. Calm down people

Those ranking are "rough" estimates anyways, I wouldn't be to worried if I was Grant.

I like how everyone claimed his injury was completely fake and the UFC paid him off. A year later he's still out with his concussive symptoms lol Phone Post 3.0
