Rashad Evans will cause the upset

Rashad has sparred with JBJ and must know how to close the distance on him, then it's a different ball game. Throw him off his footwork, not letting JBJ predict the pace. Push him into the cage, attacking the legs. Gas him out, dirty box him. Rashad must know not to stay on the outside, and surely he has seen most of JBJ's trips and takedowns. Eventually getting JBJ on his back, looking for the finnish. whatever happends Rashad needs to find a way to keep close, yet keep moving. Must not make the common mistake and walk into his knees. What ever weakness or places JBJ doesn't like you know Rashed is going to do his best to put him there, but also JBJ will be aware of this! Great fight, I can't wait!!... Phone Post

WOW YOU ARE LIKE THE FIRST PERSON ON THIS BOARD TO MAKE THIS PREDICTION

IF IT COMES TRUE I WILL BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE AN ORACLE OF THE HIGHEST CALIBRE

Just a fight fan buddy, not a fan of either of these guys. Though I really want Rashad to expose JBJ as he acts like he is a superior being sent down from the gods. He is very talented but his ego is higher than Nick Diaz! Phone Post

Anyone think if JBJ couldn't speak a word of English he would have more fans? Although most of his shit would still end up translated. But fuck he make Anderson seem such a gentleman in comparison. Mabee I'm mistaken but have you ever heard Anderson blab on about greatness and all this other egotistical bullshit!? Phone Post

His mangled unconscious body may cause his family some upset.

That's about it though.

They haven't trained together in over a year. In that time Jones has improved dramatically. I think Rashad is putting too much emphasis on the fact that he trained with Jones. Phone Post

(1) Brandon Vera is the first real striker than Jones has fought. Jones will lose

(2) Shogun is in a different class of striking. He will finish Jones

(3) Rampage has good wrestling and great power in his hands. This is what it takes to beat Jones

(4) Machida's elusive style is tailor made to beat Jones, he will dart in and out.

(5) Rashad has the style to beat Jones and has the advantage because he's trained with him.

When does it stop?

If anything, Bones has the advantage because Rashad's general style had been formed when they sparred a couple years ago whereas Jones has evolved significantly since they last sparred. Jones knows what to expect more than vice versa.

You know you can take everything the OP stated, reverse it and it holds true for JBJ... He'll know rashads "tricks" to get inside... He'll know things about Hashad that could put him in a winning situation as well. Everyone is always all like "rashad will win cuz he trained with Jon". To me it's an even playing field Phone Post
