Here is the Brand New MMA Roasted Podcast. I talk about tearing my ACL last week and my guest is Rashad Evans.
Rashad talks about Anthony Johnson, Bill Cosby, gives his predictions for Jones vs DC, his college wrestling career and more.
Hope you enjoy.

Fan of both guys, but the first fight was the biggest let down in the history of big UFC PPVs. Out of all the massive shows they've done that did over a mil, this one was the worst.
I had a LOT of casual fans over for this fight, including dudes who had never even seen MMA but watched that season of TUF and thought Rampage was a bad ass, larger than life character.
Needless to say, 6 out of the 8 or so people that came over that night never bothered to watch MMa with me again. Rashad and Rampage had a huge opportunity to put on a great, amazing fight that could've really helped to increase the eyeballs on the UFC in groups that are usually more into boxing... But they blew it bad. One of the worst high profile fights ever. They clearly had a lot on the line and were more worried about not losing than putting on a great performance and just going for it.
That being said... I see the rematch actually being more exciting if it happens. No way either guy would go out being super tentative.. but then again, Rampage looked like the same way in his last few UFC fights, and Rashad hasn't looked good either before he mauled Chael.
To be honest, I'd watch it.. but it's just a shame the way the original first fight went.. Them coming off TUF, Rampage coming off doing the movie.. even though it was delayed 6 months, the buys were still gigantic (the most ever for a non title fight) and they really blew it by putting on a staring contest. People at my house were not happy they chipped in to pay $50 for that card lol.
This. I was so fucking disappointed about that fight it was just crazy. That is one of the fights that took the anticipation out of future fights for me in the sense that I was like I won't get excited anymore till I see the fight. So many fights that were supposed to be barn burners but were not.
DirtehSneakehs - Are you kidding? The Page is back and the Rashad rematch is what some people want? Give him the loser of Gus x Rumble!!!! Time permitting obviously. If not that, the Fabio fight is in his favor to win. Personally I want to see Rampage be challenged, fight someone who is truly capable of beating him. I want to see if he gots what it takes cause I still believe he does.

Fabio Maldonado...he's kinda been calling out Rampage
Rashad is so wrong about Cosby here. None of them are gaining anything, and he CAN'T have a day in court. He already did kind of, and he paid money to defer any verdict. Which I will admit doesn't automatically mean guilty. But, it's odd that if he did nothing, he wouldn't want to clear his name.
A few of these women have been claiming this for years, and have gained nothing. I'm truly curious why Rashad is just shutting his brain off on this one. He made up his mind, facts and consensus be damned, Cosby is innocent. It's extremely unlikely that 16 or so women with nothing to gain, and very similar stories, are all lying for attention. You can bet that some of them are, but almost no way that all of them are.
I wonder if Rashad is taking this stance based on Cosby's racial role model status. Like if Cosby in fact did this, then everybody looking up to him over the years, has been living a lie. That's pretty much the stance Jon Jones took too. I don't think that's the right way to view it.

Feijoa is a better matchup. Maldonado would be there as a a fall guy. Feijoa is a killer.

I agree. Rashad is right insomuch that everyone is innocent until proven guilty but it doesn't look good for Cosby. I think because so many people grew up watching the Cosby Show it's really hard to view him like that.
