i strange expression, i’ll agree. i think i’m just constantly fantasizing about going back to the days of hollywood video, $1 high lifes at the bar, and women not having a way to stay in constant mutual communication with one another?

Watching everything everywhere all the time.

Weird movie, not really my jam. The chaotic nature is very off putting. The message is clear and I have to sit through another hour of it so I’m not thrilled about that.

Solid ā€œmehā€ so far and 100% overrated. Let’s see if the close it down in a way that gets better.

Boy was this movie not what I expected. It really wasn’t for me and I feel like this concept has been done many times before, and better. I can’t think of any examples off the top of my head though.

Either way, this was overrated and Rick and morty handle the infinite universe/timeline concept 1,000 times better.

Hated it.

Characters in masks and making the dumbest cast member have a maskless party while not so subtly Dr. Fauci playing in the background. It took me right out of the movie immediately. I’m so sick of the heavy handed Hollywood bullshit. It sucks because I loved Knives Out. I can’t honestly say if the film was good or not. That’s why I’ve been mostly watching movies from the 70s-90s lately.

4/10 at best

Maskless parties? You mean the film featured the California governor with his peers?

Fatman 7/10

A kid hires an assassin to whack Santa. Walton Goggins and Mel Gibson. Not a ton of action, and ultimately could have carved 10-15 minutes out of the run time, but a fun Xmas flick for guys.

Aside from some bad CGI, very entertaining flick. Like a lovechild of Guy Ritchie and Michael Bay with a dash of Lebowski.

Rewatched a couple this weekend.

A few good men. 1992. 10/10. Great story. Storytelling. Cinematography. Casting. Acting. Everyone is amazing.

In Bruges (2008). 9/10. Great flick. Wanted to watch this again after that irish banshees movie.

I know I’m in the minority but I just didn’t love In Bruges.

Lost Bullet 2020

A small time delinquent, turned police mechanic for a go fast task force, is forced to defend his innocence when his mentor is killed by dirty cops.

Lost Bullet 2 2022

After the death of Charras, Lino and Julia took over and form the new narcotic unit. Determined to find the murderers of his brother and his mentor, Lino continues his hunt and won’t let anyone get in his way.

Very good action flicks, I highly recommend both.

Streaming, and I think Netflix

Bullet Train 8/10
Going in it looks like mindless fun with a few laugh out loud moments and doesn’t disappoint.

Tik Tok recommending a movie it’s like Chael Sonnen picking winners for fights. It ain’t gonna end well. This ā€œnightmareā€ gave me a cure for my insomnia.

I’m with you, didn’t like it at all.
Not Ben Foster’s best work.

Had high hopes but it was boring. Found myself looking at my phone through most of the movie.

The story unravels nicely for the first 30 mins but then it shits the bed. It features pretty much the lamest gangsters ever. Does no one have a gun?
