Thirteen lives- Amazon prime 7.5/10

Nope- Hulu- 6.5/10
Very interesting build up. The western thing near LA was intriguing. Can see why so may hate it and others liked it

Same score I’d give Thirteen Lives.

7.5/10 - Not incredible, but very good.

Clockwork like precision and technically impressive to film in those conditions.

All Quite on the Western Front

8.5/10

They made half a dozen great scenes, a few dozen really good ones, and forgot to edit it into a film.

Pretty fantastic.

It’s been 7 days - name ONE example lmao

Oh, I’m sorry, I haven’t given it a second thought. I didn’t realize I was on a timer.

Maybe I’m wrong, that’s fine, that doesn’t make the movie any better.

These are the French movies right? If so, amazing (watched the first one)

Ben Foster is always at fault.

The NY Times list of the best movies of 2022. Honestly have never heard of a single one of them.

Only one I’ve heard of was Nope, and it sucked.

They have 2 or 3 American films on there and the best was Nope? C’mon son. I think you’d be hard pressed to find any American who watches a fair amount of shit and thought that was at the top of the heap. That’s just pandering.

Is this a movie list for pole smokers?

Jesus I only recognize Nope on that list and I have not seen it …

Ny times is really far gone at this point

This is the list you make while beating off to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah

Only know #3 because for a bit there you couldn’t turn on the TV without seeing a commercial for it.

soderbergh usually makes some good movies and i didn’t hate (didn’t love) “nope”.

otherwise never heard of anything on there. either i’m not as big of a movie buff as i thought i was or this is a fuckin’ bullshit, try-hard ass list.

Their #1 movie EO is described as:
“Follows a donkey who encounters on his journeys good and bad people, experiences joy and pain, exploring a vision of modern Europe through his eyes.”

Has 1,300 ratings on IMDb.
For comparison, “The Menu” came out three weeks ago and has over 32,000 ratings.

As long as it’s made by foreigners.

decision to leave is park chan-wook. haven’t seen it yet (definitely on my list) but he’s the director that did sympathy for mr vengeance, lady vengeance, oldboy, and the handmaiden. should be a solid korean flick.

the eternal daughter looks pretty good. its an A24 flick and on my list to watch as well.

petite maman is supposed to be very good. about childhood friendships and children dealing with death (grandmother).

i thought Nope was ok. a little overhyped.

expedition content is from 2020.

kimi didn’t really look that interesting.

don’t know the others.
