wouldn't the ufc make more money off those guys by letting them fight in the ufc and NOT including them in the video games, than cutting them and severing all ties altogether?

i understand that. but rather than negotiating terms for the deal, they just cut fitch and company... which to me, would mean they will lose more money by missing out on those guys fighting...
i think dana has done some great shit... but at some point, there needs to be a rational individual or individuals that mediate some of this shit... from not signing fedor, to now cutting fitch and possibly kos, the personal vendetta shit needs to be stopped.
perhaps i'm just in denial that at the end of the day, it is a business, not a sport, so business decisions, no matter how fucking retarded will rule out and take precedent over ethics or quality.

Its not just about a VIDEO GAME.. read the contract.
At the end of the day.....most of the stories that we read only explain one side of things.....I would wait and just let things pan out. Also, if it is so important to some of these bigger name fighters about what their family gets when they die...set up investments and wills that use the several hundred thousand dollars they make per year to create a safety net for their families. At the end of the day, i would like to see them get paid as much as they do anywhere else. They are expecting to be paid like football, baseball, and basketball players.....first off, their sport is still not legal in all of the states....still is not mainstream (although very close), and is the only sport accessible to anyone.
Most of these fighters have outgrown their britches....they are trying to run before they can even walk. Like Dana said, let's see them make as much money anywhere else. If they really care about the future of their families...invest their money instead of driving around in 6 figure cars and wearing 6 figure jewelry.
Supposedly, he promised all the fighters for the game. If he doesn't deliver, the game is fucked? I dunno the circmstances entirely.
