Priced at under $200. Going to be doing some work for my friend's company doing some minor training videos (talking head style and screen shots) and have to participate in some "video chat" group meetings from time to time.
I am going to buy a webcam (for Windows 10 PC). Can anyone recommend a particular make/model for under $200. Also, will need a decent, yet reasonable microphone that's better than the built in ones on those cameras.

I bought the Microsoft LifeCam HD for like $30 and a Logitech C270 I think it is for about the same a few years ago. They both shoot HD and the videos are very clear. I've never found a need to upgrade to a higher resolution webcam.
For a mic I have a couple of Audio Technica ATR2500's on different computers. Work great for my needs.
I haven't been using the webcams much lately since most of my videos nowadays are computer screen recordings but the mics get a decent amount of use.
You can get both for under $100 though.

Thanks! I was actually first deciding between the C270 and the C922, and was wondering if the 922 is worth the extra $50.
I saw the Lifecam 3000 but wasn't impressed with some of the sample footage I saw. But who knows what condition they were shot in.

I think I've decided on the Logitech c920, the right sweet spot of HD performance and price. Now the OGers ca see my hog in all it HD glory.
Cant go wrong with the Logitech HD C920, we order 100s of these things at work and the pic is great.
