Recommendations for bjj schools in that area of ga? Looking for a school that mainly focuses on bjj. Don't care for striking.

Where in Gwinnett are you going to live? Dunwoody might not be to far if u r west of Lawrenceville in which case Alliance HQ is in reach. Traffic is ridiculous for a metro of that size, so might want look for something close by like 10 miles away or less.
I'm thinking the Buford area. Gonna stay up in ballground, ga for a couple months before I move down there . There's a fight sports there run by a brown belt, don't know how many adults w experience are there

Well if you are in Buford u could make it to Alliance but it would be a45 min drive. That is your best option if u r dead set on a jiu jitsu only school.
If distance is a concern there is also Creighton's in Suwannee. It is not a jiu jitsu only school, but Paul Creighton is very good. Renzo black belt with a wrestling background.
There is an ATT and straight blast gym closer to you also, but I don't know anything about them. I'm not from GA I just visit family sometimes.

Straight Blast Gym is run by Phillipe Gentry and he's an Alliance black belt. Phillipe is a really cool guy with a great gym that's full of good people. Phillipe is very professional and runs his gym that way. I highly recommend checking it out.
ATT Atlanta is run by Roan "Jucao" Carneiro. Jucao teaches almost all of the classes, when he's not preparing for a fight, and he's got killer bjj. Haven't trained there in a long time, but I've always had a good time there.

I'll ride my horse up and down the land and shoot cans off of fences while I have a piece of straw in my mouth with big Ole boots and suspenders with no shirt
How much is land out there and where is the closest VA hospital to that area? I'm serious a place with those names can only be a hoot. I've been thinking about buying land in the south and having a place to spend part of the year at. If there's great bjj that's just icing on the cake

Diego is awesome, but not close to Buford. I train with him when time allows, but it is a haul unless I'm working in town.
A friend of mine from south Florida trained at gentrys (i think that's Philip last name) that was one of the first places I was gonna scope out. Seems like a nice facility.
