Sub 101 via youtube! Forget everything else; Renzo, Bravo, Saulo, etc... The rest just don't measure up.

For reading, check out Keith Owens blog. It's simply the best and honestly the most refreshing take on what bjj is.

Did the same thing after my knee surgery. Cyborg's set, Marcelo's, Nogueira's set to brush up on most of what I already knew, Maia's. There are sooo many good ones out there all depends on your game or what your wanting to add to your arsenal. Phone Post

I'm enjoying Pablo's set right now. solid stuff.

Here is another idea:

How long have you been training? If you have been training for some time now, have you thought about writing down all the techniques already know. Start something along the lines of your own BJJ journal. I believe in the concept: "if you know something, you should be able to explain it clearly in a written format." Therefore, during your time off from training; take the time write down everything you have learned from your BJJ training. This will force you to recall the details of the techniques you know and why they work for you. This will also help you down the line, if you ever decide to teach.

You can start by writing down all the positions you know, and the subsequent attacks and defenses from each of those positions. In doing this, you will soon realize how many techniques, transitions, and drills you already do know. But, mastering them may the missing element to your game.

Why spend the time watching videos from the greats if you are not going to be able to drill them yourself? However, as mentioned in the post above, go to your normal class to watch.

I don't know.... this is just my opinion, and from what I read so far on this thread... its a little bit different from all the other posts you have received thus far.

Be well, and speedy recovery.
