Kinkle - A good Zinfandel is the best for me. Cabs of course are also great, also enjoy Pinot Noirs... Phone Post 3.0
Love Zinfandels, Rombauer Zinfandel is awesomeness. ... my favorite Phone Post 3.0

Riesling or Muscadet for whites Phone Post 3.0

Red

Cab Sav, Syrah, pinot noir, and some blends are the norm for me. Merlot and malbec are usually my least favs. Phone Post 3.0

White wine has a shitload of sugar, which makes it disgusting.

Most of the time I stick with red, but on a hot day or with the right dish a white is better.

We recently discovered a cheap chardonnay called Muirwood that we really enjoy. I would have never given it a try on my own, but it's really nice if you like a thicker white with heavy creme, butter and oak flavor.

Lot of votes for red. OG...culture me. Put me on the path. What would be a good starter red (for white wine enthusiasts) under $30? Phone Post 3.0

Apparently Ron Swanson is not familiar with Russia.

Ron Swanson is the ultimate American, of course he doesn't care about Russia. Phone Post 3.0

Boone's farm. Strawberry Hill.

Pretty sure it's single vineyard. Phone Post 3.0

White. Reds tend to make me shart myself for some reason.

I like red, but more than a sip of wine and I get a migraine, so I haven't drank it in probably 10 years.  I have to be very careful about what I drink, 3/4's of alcoholic drinks give me migraines.

Red Wine :) A Zinfandel or Malbec. Sledgehammer is a California Zin that is fantastic!

A great malbec

A Bottle of Rose or Blush wine on a hot summer day is pretty kick ass too!

I won't turn down white wine and I enjoy Folonari Pinot Grigio

My wife's friends are Italian and they always bring over a bottle of wine when we have them over for dinner. Always red, typically Lambrusco. Nice sweet red. I will only drink red wine, white taste like vinegar to me. I'd rather have a beer or hard cider if the meal called for a white wine. I have a source for good moonshine and I keep a few jars on hand for when I feel like drinking.
